| I started showing an interest in music at an early age, and played piano for a while before taking up the violin in primary school aged 7yrs old. The music teacher at the time encouraged me to join the local county orchestra. At comprehensive school I took up the double bass which I also played in the county orchestra for about 4 yrs and also took up playing the bass guitar - but as with many teenage boys, dedication to music took a back seat to the pursuit of what seemed more important, beer, women and money not necessarily in that order !!! Later on, after meeting my wife, it became apparent that my brother in law and one of my best mates also had previously played music. We then formed a band called “Beyond Yellow” and rapidly produced a whole set of our own very unique songs. However we eventually stopped playing due to time constraints and not having anywhere to practice. 10 years later the formation of a band for Affinity healthcare’s summer Ball resulted in the three of us coming back together along with some other musically minded people to form the new band “Evidence based”, and that is where you find me today, enjoying playing music again. ********************************* North East Live Band To Hire
